ProVision Frameworker

The Frameworker utility automatically creates ProVision models, or updates existing models, to match a template.  This tool may be useful in those situations where the formatting of models is dependent entirely on the content.  For example, Frameworker could be used to generate a complete Enterprise Architecture framework for organising models and objects that already exist in the notebook.  A team could use Framework to do the automatable work, freeing up end users to spend their time on the manual work—that is creating the models which could only be hand-crafted.

Using Frameworker an architect builds up a “template”. Each element in the template has a “filter” which determines what objects to insert in the model, a “layout” which determines how to arrange the objects on the page, and “output” settings which determine what shape, color, size, etc. to use.
